The Victorian Section of the Thames Room

Parts of the large Mangle. Do you remember these?

A 'blue' bag that helped white laundry to stay white, and soap with pegs

After the laundry had been done the clothes and linen needed ironing, these irons were heated over a fire and used. More than one would be on the heat so that when one cooled another hot one could be used.
