Mammoth Tooth

This is a molar tooth of a Wooly Mammoth. They had 4 molar teeth, 2 in the upper jaw and 2 in the lower jaw.

This was found in a gravel pit at Kempton Park, Sunbury. Can you imagine Mammoths there instead of horses?
