Be A Volunteer!

The Spelthorne Museum is entirely volunteer run. Would you like to join us? We do not expect you to have qualifications or museum experience as we provide on-the-job training. Our volunteers need to be numerate and literate and aged 18 or over, fit, well and mobile enough to carry out our emergency procedures and above all, friendly!

Do you know someone who might be interested in volunteering? Let us know!
Just a reminder to everyone that Spelthorne Museum does not discriminate against anyone due to race, colour or creed, age or class.

A variety of jobs are available both behind the scenes, looking after the collection, setting up new displays, assisting with the education service and also at the 'front of house' where volunteers ensure that the museum is open when advertised.

Volunteers receive a monthly 'Treasures' newsletter. They also have an password protected area on the website especially for their use.

If you are interested in joining the ranks of wonderful and interesting volunteers please contact Gloria Hazell our Volunteer Co-ordinator: gloria_hazell@spelthornemuseum.org.uk
