Latest news - As expected Staines Library has now closed down
for the duration, and so that means that our Museum is fully
closed now, both the Thames Room and the Elmsleigh Room. Keep
watching for any updates both on here and on our Facebook page

IN THE LIGHT
OF GOVERNMENT ADVICE, THE THAMES ROOM WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE. TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC AND OUR VOLUNTEERS, SADLY OUR
MEETINGS, PUBLIC TALKS AND ACTIVITY DAYS ARE ALSO SUSPENDED

All talks and AGM are postponed until further notice.
Autumn Talks will be added later in the year
otherwise stated, talks take place either at Staines Methodist
Church, Thames Street, or Fordbridge Centre, Clarendon Road,
Ashford and commence at 8.00 p.m.
to members, non-members welcome at £2 per person.
You can get a membership on the night of the talks. Then entrance
will be free that night.

We have again revamped the website for the 40th Anniversary
of the Museum. Please take a look at the Queen's Award page,
the Accessibility page, the photos of Staines page and the Lino
page. There is also a map page showing how to get to us, people
are always saying to us that they didn't know that we are located
through the Library, on the map page we show photos of our building
related to everywhere else around us.
We also have
NEW pages showing the Exhibits that are supposed to be in the
Thames Room, however they can be seen on here while we are closed,
due to the Coronavirus.
