Here is how you get to us - page 2

We are in the Staines Library shown centre bottom, come in through their main doors and we are at the far end of the building. Turn right as you come in to the Library.

By Train

Frequent trains from Waterloo, Woking (via Weybridge) or Windsor to Staines, then an approx 5 - 10 minute walk to the Museum

Walk along Railway path into Staines, go under the railway bridge and through the car park to the Elmsleigh Center, follow instructions below.

If you are walking you will probably come in through the front entrance of the Elmsleigh Centre. and will come out at the back entrance. Follow directions from * below

If you are coming by bus, get off at the Staines bus station, walk to the main back entrance of the Elmsleigh Centre (X) BUT DON’T GO IN, * turn left (arrow) and follow the path around until you come to the library. You will pass Matalan, a pound shop, Dyas, a furniture shop and Argos.

You will see the Library in front of you. Go in there, bear right and walk to the end of the library where you will see the Museum doors.

Please go straight in and look around. The Elmsleigh Room is open during Library hours. Always free.

The Thames Room is open during the following times when we have volunteers on duty, on a Wednesday, Friday (2 - 4pm) and Saturday (1:30 - 4:30pm) (First Saturday of the month only, (11am - 4:30pm).)
